Eila & Something Shiny

Eila and Something Shiny is a unique and clever solo experience. I had a blast playing this game and my 6-year-old had just as much fun watching my adventure with Eila. As an avid solo board gamer, this is one of my most highly anticipated games of the year. I can’t wait to continue adventuring towards the promise of “something shiny” this April when the game launches on Kickstarter.

Squire for Hire

Jon Merchant’s Squire for Hire, published by Letiman Games,  caught my eye on Kickstarter for a couple of reasons. The first, as always, is the artwork. Love Losing

It is often said that the journey is more important than the destination. This small bit of wisdom can easily be seen traveling the world of board games. Playing the game is the journey. Winning or losing is merely the destination. It’s important to have a destination but the majority of the fun happens along the journey.

Royal Bastards, a KS Preview

We recently had a chance to play Royal Bastards by Flamestryke Games. A chaotic area control game in a fantasy world filled with magical bastards and dice combat. Royal Bastards is launching soon on Kickstarter. Steve has put a few of his thoughts together here for your consideration.
